Yes. Moat is free for up to 10 accounts, with full on-device encryption and offline codes — and no account is required. Upgrade to Premium whenever you need more.
Premium starts with a 7-day free trial. You won't be charged until the trial ends, and you can cancel anytime before then — in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions — at no cost. If you don't cancel, it converts to the annual plan automatically.
Premium is $14.99/year after a 7-day free trial, billed through your Apple ID on iPhone or via Paddle (our merchant of record) on the web. Prefer to pay once? Lifetime is available in the app — $29.99, one time. Either way, we never see your card — Apple or Paddle handles the entire transaction.
Absolutely. For App Store plans, manage or cancel in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions; for web (Paddle) plans, use the link in your Paddle receipt email. Cancel at least 24 hours before renewal to avoid the next charge.
Yes. Premium unlocks on every device you sign in to, with end-to-end encrypted sync keeping your accounts in step. App Store purchases are tied to your Apple ID (use Restore Purchases on a new device); web purchases are tied to the email you set at checkout — sign in with it in the app.
After web checkout you’ll create a Moat account (email + password). Sign in with that same email in Moat on your iPhone and Premium unlocks automatically — it can take a minute to sync.
On iPhone, whatever is on file with your Apple ID — card, Apple Pay, PayPal, carrier billing, or gift cards. On the web, Paddle accepts major cards and regional methods. Because Apple or Paddle processes the payment, we never see your card or billing details.
